Setup guide
Scripts on D3TX//LAB install straight from the browser onto the Zen in about three minutes. No files, no Zen Studio. Free builds and scripts that are not on the Lab still load through Zen Studio, further down this page.
Before you start
What you need
A PC with Chrome or Edge
The Lab talks to the Zen over WebHID. Firefox and Safari can't, and phones can't.
The Zen on its PROG port
Plug the Zen into the PC by the PROG port, not the console port. Close Zen Studio first: only one program can hold the Zen at a time.
Discord and Patreon
Sign in with Discord. To claim an order, link Patreon on the Account page: orders are matched to the email you paid with.
Your order ID
After payment an email from D3TX Services (noreply@mail.d3tx.services) brings your order ID and the steps. It never changes, so keep the email.
On D3TX//LAB
Install and activate
The main path. About three minutes from order email to key.

Sign in
Open lab.d3tx.services in Chrome or Edge on a PC and sign in with Discord.

Link Patreon
On the Account page, link the Patreon account you paid with.

Claim the order
Still on the Account page, paste your order ID and press Claim order. The script unlocks on your account.

Program the Zen
Zen in the PROG port, press Connect on the Studio page, open the script, pick a slot from 1 to 8 and press Program. Other slots stay as they are.

Read the device ID
The Zen shows D3TX ACTIVATION. Press any 6 buttons and it shows an 8 character device ID. Later, press MENU on Xbox or OPTIONS on PlayStation three times to see it again.

Activate
Type the device ID on the script's page on the Lab (Activate) and enter the key it gives on the Zen. Done. Zen into the console, controller into the Zen, play.

Keys
Two ways to get your key
On the Lab
Claim the order on the Account page, program the Zen, then type the device ID on the script's page and press Activate. The key shows right there. This is the main path.
Through the Discord key bot
In the Discord key channel (get-key-and-script) press Claim, enter the order ID and the email you paid with. A 6 digit code goes to that email and expires in 15 minutes. Claiming there also puts the order on that Discord account, so the script is waiting on the Lab when you sign in with the same Discord, no Patreon claim needed. Install from the Lab, then press Enter code in Discord with the code and the device ID. The key arrives by DM.
Rules that cause most questions
Read these once
New device ID after every reprogram
Read the device ID after programming, never before. A key only works for the device ID it was made for.
Updates
The Lab shows an update badge when a slot holds an older build, and owners get a DM or email when a new build is out. Open the script on the Lab, press Program again, then activate again.
Activations
6 activations a month are automatic. Past that, an activation waits for owner approval and the key then arrives by DM. There is a lifetime cap of 20 per order unless approved.
One Zen per account
The first Zen used on a Lab account is linked to it. Using a different Zen times the account out and alerts staff, and a Zen linked to someone else is refused. Changed your Zen? Open a ticket to have it moved.
One Discord account per order
Orders lock to the first Discord account that claims them. Changed your Discord account? Open a ticket.
Unlock codes
Got a site only unlock code from D3tx? Enter it on the script's page under "Have an unlock code?". It works once and ties the script to that Discord account.
Troubleshooting
When something's off
The Lab can't see the Zen
Use Chrome or Edge on a PC, plug the Zen in by the PROG port, close Zen Studio, and try another cable.
The key is rejected
Every reprogram gives the Zen a new device ID. Read the device ID after programming and activate again with that one.
The Discord claim code never arrived
Check spam. The code only goes to the email you paid with, and it expires after 15 minutes.
The Lab says my firmware is out of date
The Lab compares the Zen against the latest firmware (2.3.2) and tells you if an update is needed.
A different Zen, or a different Discord account
One Zen per account and one Discord account per order. Open a ticket with your order ID to have it moved.
Still stuck
Owners of a paid script can open a ticket on the Lab (Account page, one at a time). For everything else, open a ticket in the Discord with your order ID. Check the status page first.
Stay safe
D3TX never DMs script files and never asks for your password. Anyone who does is not us. The only official places are lab.d3tx.services, d3tx.services, mnk.d3tx.services, patreon.com/D3txServices and the Zen Studio Live library.

Free builds and other scripts
The free builds, and the paid scripts that are not marked D3TX//LAB in the catalog, load through Zen Studio.

Connect the Cronus Zen
Plug the Zen into your PC via the PROG port. Connect an auth controller to the Zen's USB. LED on means it is detected in Zen Studio.

Install Zen Studio
Download from the official Cronus website. Update firmware when prompted. The device must appear in the status bar.

Get the script
Free builds are live in the Zen Studio GPC Library, author D3TX. Paid scripts not on the Lab ship as a .znbk Zen backup from Patreon.

Load into Zen Studio
Free builds: open the GPC Library in Zen Studio, filter by author D3TX and load straight to a slot. For a .znbk: Device, Restore Backup, pick the file, write it to a slot.

Connect to the console
Disconnect from the PC, plug the Zen into your console's USB, connect the auth controller to the Zen, power on.
6
Tune in game
Load a private match and use the OLED menu or the script's button combos to adjust values.
